I got this recipe from another website last year. I love this recipe. I made them yesterday and one thing I did different with the icing was that I melted the chocolate morsels and sweetened condensed milk in the microwave. I didn't let it get too hot, just enough to melt it and stir it together. I only added a few teaspoons of the cherry juice so it wouldn't get too thin. Then I added the icing a little at a time in a pastry bag and piped it on each cookie giving it a nice appearance. I used the "star" tube/tip and swirled it around each cherry until covered but you can become very creative using the other tips. Last year when I made these cookies, there was a lot of icing left over but this year there wasn't as much left over probably due to applying more frosting with the pastry bag and not adding as much cherry juice.
