1/4 cup butter
1-1/2 cup sugar
3 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate, melted and cooled
1 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 cups flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Powdered sugar
8 oz. nonpareil (chocolate candy)

Instructions

Combine all ingredients except powdered sugar and candy. Chill dough 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350°F. Shape into 1-inch balls, roll in powdered sugar. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes. Remove from oven and immediately place a candy piece in center of each cookie. Cool 1 minute and remove from sheet. Cool completely.
