Chicken Casserole for a Crowd

10 cups chicken, diced and cooked
10 cups celery, chopped
2 bunches green onions with tops, sliced
2 cans (4 oz. each) chopped green chiles
1 can (5-3/4 oz.) pitted ripe olives, drained and sliced
2 cups slivered almonds
5 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
2 cups mayonaise
2 cups sour cream
5 cups potato chips, crushed


Combine the first 6 ingredients. Add 2 cups cheese. Mix mayonaise and sour cream; add to chicken mixture and toss. Spoon into 2 greased 13x9x2" baking dishes. Sprinkle with chips. Top with remaining cheese. Bake uncovered, at 350°F, for 20-25 minutes or until hot.
