cheese per chicken breast (harder cheeses are best, like Swiss)
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Cut off a square of aluminum foil big enough to wrap chicken breast. Place chicken breast on foil, add salt and pepper, layer onion, cheese and then the ham. Wrap tightly and set on the fire, or in a pan on a camp stove. (If you're at home you can do this in your oven. Set your oven temp to 375°F and bake for 20 minutes.)
Chicken should be done in 10 to 15 minutes depending on how hot your fire is. Use tongs to get the chicken out of the fire and check for doneness (No pink juices or pink on the inside of chicken). Serve in the foil on a plate so you don't lose any of the yummy juices.

We do a lot of camping, my kids love this dish right before the s'mores come out!
If you do the prep work before you get to your camp site, this is a very simple yet very tasty meal.
