1/2 cup butter or
margarine
1/4 cup cocoa
2 eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 dash salt

Icing

1-1/3 cup icing sugar
1/3 cup cocoa
3 tbsp. butter or
margarine
1 tbsp. hot water (add more if mixture is too firm)

Instructions

In a small saucepan, melt cocoa and butter, stirring as it melts. Remove from heat. In a medium sized bowl, beat eggs until frothy. Add sugar, flour, nuts, and salt. Pour the cocoa mixture over the dry ingredients, and stir together. Scrape batter into a greased 8x8-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, until the edges show signs of pulling away from the sides of the pan. Cut into 25 squares when cool.
