Brown Sugar Hot Chocolate

3 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/3 cup water
4 cups milk, heated
3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/8 tsp. salt
5 peppermint canes or
sticks

Instructions

Stir chocolate and water in a medium saucepan over low heat until chocolate has melted (mixture will thicken). Gradually whisk in milk, then sugar and salt until evenly blended.

To serve:
Reheat in a saucepan over medium-low heat, or in microwave, stirring occasionally. Serve with Peppermint cane stirrer.
