Bountiful Wheat Casserole

Ingredients
1 lb. | ground beef | 1 can (1 lb.) | tomatoes | 1 tbsp. | salt | 2 tsp. | oregano | 2 tsp. | basil | 2 tsp. | garlic powder | 3 cups | cooked wheat kernels | 4 cups | cabbage, coarsely shredded | 1/2 cup | sour cream | 1 cup | finely chopped onions | 1 cup | finely chopped green peppers | 1 cup | grated mozzarella cheese |

Instructions
Saute beef until lightly browned. Stir in tomatoes, seasonings, wheat and cabbage. Cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes, or until cabbage is tender crisp. Stir in sour cream, onions and green peppers. Heat. Spoon into warm serving dish and sprinkle with cheese. Let stand a few minutes before serving to allow cheese to melt.
Author's Comments
Note: to cook whole wheat berries, 1 cup of berries to 1-1/2 cups of water and bring to a boil then turn to simmer for 1 hour. Can be refrigerated till ready to use.
