Ingredients
2 lbs. | ground beef | 1 pkg. | saltine crackers, finely crushed or | | bread crumbs | 2 | eggs | 1 can | tomato sauce | 1 cup | ketchup | 4 to 6 slices | bacon, fried crisp and crumbled with grease reserved | 1 | sm. onion, diced | 1 | sm. green pepper, diced | 1 tbsp. | garlic powder | 1 tbsp. | seasoned salt | 1/8 cup | brown sugar | 1 tbsp. | Worcestershire sauce | 1 tsp. | Accent |

Instructions
Saute green pepper and onion in the bacon grease till not quite tender, maybe 5 minutes. Add tomato sauce, 1/2 cup ketchup, Worcestershire and spices (minus brown sugar); heat 3-4 minutes.
Place ground beef into large mixing bowl; add the eggs, brown sugar, pepper and onion sauce. Mix in the crumbled bacon and crushed crackers and mix all this together. Mixture should be very moist.
Put into a baking dish and form into a loaf. Pour the other 1/2 cup of ketchup on top and spread it around. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour.
