Banana, Almond Butter & Cacao Energy Bites

These easy to make, no-bake truffle treats are so delicious and full of nutrition.

1 banana
140g/5oz almonds
45g/1.5oz pitted dates
3tsp. cacao powder
125g/4.5oz almond butter (or any other type of nut butter)

Optional toppings: chopped hazelnuts, blueberry powder, ground almonds, chia seeds.

Instructions

1.Place the almonds in your food processor and pulse until finely ground.
2.Add the rest of the truffle ingredients to the food processor and pulse until you reach a thick paste consistency.
3.Roll 1 teaspoon of the mixture at a time into small balls then roll them in your choice of toppings.
4.Freeze for 1 hour.
5.Before consuming, let the bites defrost at room temperature for around 10 minutes.
