I tried and really enjoyed this recipe. I work at a steak house which garnishes their potato soup with shredded cheese, green onion slices and crumbled bacon. I followed in their footsteps. The base has a wonderful flavor. I sent some over to an elderly gentleman, who has recently lost his wife and is now dining on fast food...he really appreciated the gesture and bragged about the soup! Thanks, Michelle
