Apple Baked Beans

1 cup diced onion
2 cans (15) Boston-style baked beans
1 cup diced Granny Smith apple
1 tbsp. prepared mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
5 slices uncooked bacon

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Coat a 2 quart baking dish with nonstick cooking spray. In a large bowl, combine all ingredients except bacon. Pour into baking dish and lay raw strips of bacon on top. Cover and bake 45 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes.
