1 can (12 oz.) tomato puree
1/2 can water
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 md. onion, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Basil, to taste
Garlic powder, to taste
1 handful grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Saute the onion in oil over medium heat until onion is lightly browned. Add puree, water and seasonings; cover and let cook for about 30-35 minutes, stirring regularly to prevent sticking.
