Amaretto Spiked Mascarpone Gelato with Seasonal Fruit




1 tub (475 g) Tre StelleĀ® Mascarpone
1 cup (250) confectioners sugar
4 egg yolks, beaten
1/4 cup (50 mL) Amaretto liqueur (almond flavoured liqueur)
seasonal fruits as desired


In a medium bowl, using a wooden spoon, beat together all ingredients until smooth. Pour into a plastic bowl, cover and freeze for 4 hours or overnight.

Remove from freezer twenty minutes before serving and place in refrigerator to soften. Serve with your choice of seasonal fruits.

Variation; add chopped toasted almonds or chocolate chips onto Gelato before serving.
