1 | sheet puff pastry | 1/3 cup | sugar | 2/3 cup | slivered almonds, lightly toasted | 6 tbsp. | butter, melted | 1 | egg | 1/4 tsp. | vanilla extract | 1/4 tsp. | almond extract | 1-1/2 tbsp. | flour | 4 | apricots, halved and pitted | 1/4 cup | whole almonds, skin on | | Powdered sugar, for garnish |

Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F.
Place almonds in a food processor and process finely. Add sugar, butter, egg, vanilla and flour; mix well.
Roll out the puff pastry and place it in a 9-inch pie plate. Spread the almond-butter mixture within the pastry. Press the apricot halves firmly into the almond-butter mixture in even intervals. Place whole almonds in between the apricots.
Bake until golden brown, around 30 to 40 minutes. Garnish with powdered sugar.
