Ingredients:

1 tsp. olive oil
1 can corned beef
1 sm. can tomato sauce
1 md. onion, sliced
1 cup white rice

Directions:

Cook rice as directed on package - usually 20 minutes.

While rice cooks, slice onion and sautee in a teaspoon of olive oil until soft. Add corned beef, breaking it into smaller pieces with a fork. Add can of tomato sauce, cover and cook over low flame for 5 minutes.

Serve corned beef and onions over hot cooked rice.

I made this recipe exactly how Leticia Jespersen worded it and it tasted nasty. I wouldn't even feed this to my dogs (if I had any). Maybe feed it to the subway rats.


Hi from Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas! I laughed when I saw this 'recipe'. Here it's called "Fire Engine" because of the red/white colour combo. It's not high-tech, just a basic quick meal like tuna & grits.
