1/2 pkg. macaroni
2 tbsp. onion, chopped
2 tbsp. butter or margarine
2 tbsp. flour
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
1 pinch pepper
1-3/4 cups milk
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup cottage cheese
1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup buttered bread crumbs

Directions:

Cook macaroni according to package direction. In saucepan saute onion in butter until tender. Stir in flour, mustard and pepper: cook 1 minute. Blend in milk; cook stirring constantly, until thickened. Add cheddar, cottage and parmesan cheeses; stir until melted. Combine macaroni and sauce mixture; mix well. Pour into 8 cup (2L) baking dish. Top with bread crumbs. Bake at 350°F about 30 minutes.
