Prep. Time:

Total Time:

Ingredients:

14 lg. unpeeled shrimp
6 tbsp. cold unsalted butter
1-1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
1-1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
1 tsp. Creole seasoning
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. chopped garlic
1 lemon, juice of
Hot French bread

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 450°F. Place the shrimp, 3 Tbsp of butter, seasonings, and garlic in a saute' pan or oven proof skillet large enough to hold the shrimp in only one layer. Place shrimp in oven for about 2 minutes. Remove and turn the shrimp over and return for another 2-3 minutes.

Remove the shrimp. Place on the stove on medium heat. Add the lemon juice and the remaining 3 Tbsp of butter, 1 Tbsp at a time.

Serve in a bowl with the French bread for the dipping.

Comments from George B. :

I usually serve really cold beer or iced tea to cut the heat of the dish. It is the pepper that makes the heat so that can be varied depending on your own preferences.

Awesome dish!! Absolutely loved it, although I used a little less garlic (girlfriend was coming over).
