Ingredients:

3 cups sifted all-purpose flour
1-1/4 cups quick rolled oats
1-1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1 tbsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 cup honey
1-1/2 cups milk
1 tbsp. butter (cover bread with butter 1/4 hour before finished baking)

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease bread pan well (I use olive oil, dusted with flour). In large bowl, mix flour, oats, baking power, and salt. In a medium bowl, with egg beater, beat honey, egg and milk to mix well Pour the mixture together, mix with wooden spoon until mixture is moist. Spread batter in pan, bake one hour and fifteen minutes or until crusty and tester inserted comes out clean. Remove from oven and pan. Cover with butter above and let set.
