Ingredients:

1 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2-1/4 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 pkg. (11-1/2 oz.) chocolate chips
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

Place chocolate chips into a freezer until very firm. Place frozen chocolate chips and chopped walnuts into an electric blender or food processor and chop very briefly. Beat butter, sugars, eggs and vanilla in a large bowl with and electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy. Mix in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in chip and nut mixture. Drop by teaspoons 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Cool.
