Ingredients:

1 stick butter
1 pkg. (16 oz.) linguine
2 tbsp. chopped garlic (at least, but the more the better)
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 to 3 tbsp. olive oil
1 pint heavy cream
1/2 cup sliced Shiitake mushrooms
1 to 2 bunch fresh spinach, stemmed and cleaned

Optionals:
Shredded chicken
Shrimp
Tomatoes
Broccoli
Zucchini
Carrots

Directions:

1. Saute garlic and olive oil.

2. Add butter to garlic till melted.

3. Slowly pour heavy cream stirring constantly.

4. Add Parmesan and stir well.

5. Add Shiitake mushrooms and spinach.

6. Add linguine to mixture and toss.

7. Add optionals....ENJOY!!

This was definitely a delicious recipe. The one adjustment I am going to make next time is I will add a couple tablespoons of flour or a tablespoon of corn starch to thicken to ‘brothy’ liquid a bit. I think that will give it a better coating on the Linguine.
