1 lb. ground beef
1 can (16 oz.) tomatoes
1 tbsp. salt
2 tsp. oregano
2 tsp. basil
2 tsp. garlic powder
3 cups cooked wheat kernels
4 cups cabbage, coarsely shredded
1/2 cup sour cream
1 cup finely chopped onions
1 cup finely chopped green peppers
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Saute beef until lightly browned. Stir in tomatoes, seasonings, wheat and cabbage. Cover and cook 10 to 15 minutes, or until cabbage is tender crisp. Stir in sour cream, onions and green peppers. Heat. Spoon into warm serving dish and sprinkle with cheese. Let stand a few minutes before serving to allow cheese to melt.

Note: to cook whole wheat berries, 1 cup of berries to 1-1/2 cups of water and bring to a boil then turn to simmer for 1 hour. Can be refrigerated till ready to use.
