Comments from einar :

This cake is so rich that I do not frost it at all! I just dust it with powdered sugar.

This is the first recipe that I have sent into foodgeeks with a 5 star rating. It is that good that it should have it.

User Reviews:

Einar, I saw this on the Discussion Board and printed it for my wife to make. Well I got home and there was just one small slice left. My wife & kids ate most of it. They said it was the best! And even the small slice I had was REAL GOOD!

This is almost exactly like the one I make here in Scotland...but instead of the water it has Bourbon and strong coffee....Einar..try playing around with it and see what happens. Here we use more coffee than Bourbon but a healthy does nonetheless of Bourbon. Same method as you do..heating it all over water and letting the whisky moulder for about 5 minutes in the coffee..then I add the butter and chocolate and later the sugar.

It was real good!
Can't wait to make it again!
We almost could not wait for it to cool!
Have it with a cold glass of milk while still warm!
Thanks, Einar
