Ingredients:

1 cup butter
1/4 cup whipping cream or whole milk
1/2 cup packed brown sugar

Caramel Icing:
1-1/4 cups roasted sunflower seeds
2 cups rice crispies cereal
2 cups rolled oats
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
2 cups flour
1 tbsp. vanilla extract
2 eggs, well beaten
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar (lightly packed)
1/3 cup icing sugar

Directions:

Cream butter and sugars till fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, and vanilla. Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder in seperate bowl. Stir into creamed mixture. Blend in oats, rice cereal and sunflower seeds. Form into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Flatten with fork. Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Cool and drizzle Caramel Icing over cookies.

Caramel Icing:
In small pan mix sugar and cream. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for one minute. Transfer to a bowl and beat in icing sugar until smooth. Drizzle over cookies.
