1 can (12 oz.) beer
1/2 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp. oil
1 tsp. salt
1 cup all-purpose flour
3 cups rye or whole wheat flour
1 pkg. yeast
1 tbsp. caraway seeds (optional)

Directions:

Add all ingredients to bread machine in order listed. Set cycle for Whole Wheat and crust to L. If desired, caraway seeds may be added when time on display says 2:50 (signal will sound.)
