Ingredients:

1 lb. ground chuck
1 pkg. (3 oz.) Parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 pkg. (8 oz.) sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
1 container (12 oz.) cottage cheese
1 can (8 oz.) Parmesan cheese
2 pkg. (7 oz. each) thin spaghetti
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 jar (26 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 tbsp. garlic powder
2 cloves garlic, minced or
1 cup green bell pepper, diced
1 cup onion, diced
1 lb. mild sausage
1 pkg. (8 oz.) Mozzarella cheese, grated

Directions:

Brown meat on med-high heat. Add onion, green pepper and garlic; cook 5 minutes on medium. Add spaghetti sauce, salt and pepper; simmer while preparing spaghetti.

Cook spaghetti per package instructions; drain. In medium bowl, add can of Parmesan cheese to spaghetti, stirring until mixed. Press into bottom of 9\"x13\" baking dish sprayed with cooking spray. On top of spaghetti, layer cottage cheese, meat mixture, and other cheeses. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes, or until bubbly.

Claire, ground chuck is simply ground beef that is cut just a little bit differently. You can find it in the meat department of any grocery store.


Can you please tell me what 1lb ground chuck is.This recipe looks really nice and I would love to cook this.
