Ingredients:

1 pkg. (18-1/4 oz.) yellow cake mix
1 pkg. (3 oz.) vanilla instant pudding
1/2 cup ice water
3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts
4 eggs
1/2 cup Irish whisky
1/2 cup vegetable oil

Whisky Glaze:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup granulated white sugar
1/3 cup water
1/4 cup Irish Whisky

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325ºF. Grease 1 bundt or tube pan. Blend all the cake ingredients in a large mixing bowl. Beat until well blended. Pour batter into pan. Bake for 1 hour. Set on wire rack to cool. When cool, glaze with the following mixture.

Whisky Glaze:
Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in sugar and water. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and stir in the second measure of Irish whisky. Pour over unmolded cake.
