Total Time:

Ingredients:

1 pkg. white cake mix
1 box jello, strawberry or cherry
1 can (12 oz.) strawberry soda
1-1/2 cups water
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
2 cups milk
1 cup Cool Whip

Directions:

Make cake as directed on package. Bake in a 9x13\" pan. Cool in pan then using a knife or handle of wooden spoon poke holes in cake 2\" apart. Set aside.

Boil water in saucepan. Stir in jello, add soda and remove from stove when it foams up. Pour over cake to cover, it will soak in.

Mix vanilla pudding and milk and beat until thick. Stir in cool whip and blend together. Spread over cool cake. Chill before serving.

Comments from Joyce Dragoman :

This can be made with other flavors of jello using that flavor of soda also.
