Total Time:

Ingredients:

1/4 stick butter
Jalepeno peppers, sliced, to taste *
1 lb. grated Colby cheese
5 eggs, beaten well

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. Melt butter in 11x14 casserole dish in preheated oven. Remove from oven. Place peppers in bottom of the pan. Sprikle cheese on top of peppers. Pour beaten eggs over cheese. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or until edges start to brown. Cool some and cut into bars, as you would brownies.

Comments from Shirley Parkey :

* I use 2 cans (4 oz. each) green chilies, drained

Everyone loves these-If you want to serve to children-You can omit peppers. ENJOY!
