1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lg. onion, sliced 1/4-inch thick
2 tbsp. ketchup
1-1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. chili powder
2 dashes tabasco sauce
1/4 cup water
Salt, to taste
Pepper, to taste

Directions:

Heat oil in a pan. Add onion slices and sauté for 7 minutes. Blend in ketchup, cinnamon, chili powder, tabasco sauce, salt and pepper. Pour in water, stir and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.
