Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. allspice
1/2 cup margarine
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup milk
1 cup raisins
1 cup partridge berries
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Prepare 9x5x3 loaf pan by greasing with margarine, lining with aluminum foil, and greasing foil. Dust lightly with flour. Preheat oven to 350°F. Combine together 2 cups of flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. allspice. Cream 1/2 cup margarine with 1 cup of sugar. Blend in 2 eggs and 1 tsp. of vanilla, beating until light and fluffy. Add measured dry ingredients to sugar/margarine mixture alternately with one cup of milk. (Make 3 dry and 2 liquid additions, combining lightly after each.) Fold in raisins, partridge berries, and nuts. Pour into prepared pan. Bake in oven at 350°F for 70 to 75 minutes or until a knitting needle inserted in centre comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes, remove from pan, then cool completely .
