1 tsp. salt
1 lg. clove garlic, halved crosswise
2 md. jalapeno peppers, seeded and minced
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
2 tbsp. onion, finely chopped
1/4 tsp. cumin, ground
1/4 tsp. black pepper, ground
1 tbsp. lemon or lime juice,fresh
2 lg. ripe avocados
4 whole plum tomatoes, finely diced

Directions:

Put the salt into a bowl and rub the garlic on the sides of the bowl to get a little garlic juice. Toss out the garlic. Add the jalapenos, cilantro, onion, cumin and black pepper to the bowl. Pound with the back of a spoon until watery. Stir in lemon or lime juice. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Spoon out the flesh into a bowl. Mash slightly with a fork. Fold in the tomatoes. Check salt and lemon or lime juice for taste.
