1 lb. beef, chopped
1 lb. chicken, chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 onion, to taste
1 carrot, cut into slivers
1 parsnip, cut into slivers
1 celery heart
1 to 2 green peppers, diced
1 to 2 tomatoes, diced
5 oz. mushrooms, coarsely chopped
1 egg
4 oz. flour

Directions:

Put 1/2 kg. of chopped beef into cold water and bring to the boil; then skim the scum off the top. After 20-25 minutes add 50-60 dkg. of chopped chicken. Season with salt, pepper and onion. When half-cooked, add some carrots and parsnips, a celery heart, 1 or 2 green peppers and tomatoes and 15 dkg. mushrooms. Out of this make a broth. Then make ribbon noodles from 1 egg and 12 dkg. of flour. Put them to cook in the soup. Serve with sour cream or sour milk.
