Ingredients:

4 cups raw sweet potatoes, peeled and grated
1 lg. egg, well beaten
1/4 cup melted butter
1 cup milk
3/4 cup dark corn syrup
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Directions:

Mix sweet potatoes with egg, melted butter and milk. Stir in corn syrup. Beat in remaining ingredients. Pour mixture into 1-1/2-quart baking dish; bake in pre-heated 325°F oven for 2-1/2 hours. Stir occasionally during the first hour. Serve hot or cold. When cold, it can be sliced and served with milk or cream.
