Total Time:

Ingredients:

1 pkg. (3 oz.) chicken-flavored ramen-noodle soup
1/2 cup vegetable oil
2 tbsp. apple-cider vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1 cup sliced or slivered almonds, toasted
1 pkg. (16 oz.) broccoli slaw mix*
8 green onions, with tops, chopped
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground black pepper

Directions:

Mix dry seasoning packed with soup with oil, vinegar and sugar. Put in blender and mix well. (Vinegar and sugar can be put in microwave-safe bowl and heated until sugar is melted. Other ingredients are then added.) Set aside.

Crush ramen noodles and mix them with almonds. In a large glass bowl, put broccoli slaw, green onions, almond-noodle mixture, salt and pepper. Toss. Add dressing and mix well. Refrigerate several hours before serving.

Comments from Kathleen Morrison :

*Regular slaw mix originally used in the recipe. Delicious either way.

User Reviews:

This is the best cole slaw I have ever had. It is also good if you throw in some sunflower seeds.
