1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white vinegar
1 tsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. tapioca starch
2 tbsp. water
2 tbsp. minced ginger

Directions:

In a 2-quart pan mix sugar and vinegar and soy sauce. Stir over high heat until sugar dissolves. Mix tapioca starch with water; add to sugar mixture and stir sauce until it boils. Remove from heat. Add 2 tbsp. fresh minced ginger.
