Ingredients:

1 lb. ground pork sausage
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/3 cup chopped celery
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
36 wonton wrappers
Oil for deep frying

Directions:

In large skillet, brown sausage; drain. Add onion, celery, salt and pepper. Sauté 1 to 2 minutes; cool.

To assemble sausage rolls, place 1 tbsp. sausage mixture diagonally on each wonton wrapper. Fold like an egg roll, by folding one corner over filling and tucking point under; fold in 2 side corners. Roll up tightly toward remaining corner; mosten point to seal.

In deep fryer or heavy saucepan, heat 1 to 2 inches oil to 375°F. Fry sausage rolls for 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.

50 calories per serving.

These are very good but take a while to make. I doubled the recipe, which made a gallon Ziploc bagful.
