1 qt. Kosher dill pickles
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup water
Few mixed spices or few slices sweet onions (optional)

Directions:
|
Heat sugar, water and vinegar until sugar dissolves. Drain pickles. Cut into chunks and return to jar with added spices or onion, if desired. Pour liquid over pickles. Refrigerate at least 24 hours.
