Ingredients:

1 bottle (12 oz.) beer or ale
1 lb. frankfurters
Hot dog buns, warmed
Sauerkraut, warmed

Directions:

In a deep 2-1/2 quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole combine beer and frankfurters. Heat, covered, in microwave oven for 6 to 8 minutes or until heated through. Serve on hot buns with warmed sauerkraut.

Warmed Kraut: Combine a 15 0z. can of kraut, one can of beer and three tablespoons brown surgar in a saucepan. (adjust brown surgar to taste.} Simmer until the beer is gone. (kraut will be very tender.)
