Ingredients:

3 cups watermelon, chopped
1/2 cup green bell peppers, chopped
2 tbsp. lime juice
1 tbsp. cilantro, chopped
1 tbsp. green onion, chopped
1 to 2 tbsp. jalapeņo pepper, chopped*
1/2 tsp. garlic salt

Directions:

Combine all ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 1 hour. Serve on sliced oranges or cheese-filled manicotti.

Variation: top 1 cup sour cream with 1 cup salsa and serve with chips.

Per 1/2-cup serving: 31 calories; 1 gram protein; .4 gram fat; 7 grams carbohydrates; 0 cholesterol; 156 mg. sodium.

Lower sodium figure by using garlic powder in place of garlic salt and adding lite salt to taste.
