Ingredients:

1/2 lb. pork sausage links or loose sausage, cooked and drained
1/4 cup butter
1-1/2 cups chopped onion
1-1/2 to 3/4 cups chopped celery
1/2 to 3/4 tbsp. fresh parsley, chopped
2 cups poultry seasoning
Raisins
1 apple, chopped and unpeeled
3/4 to 1 lb. soft bread cubes
3/4 cup chicken broth (to moisten)
Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions:

Cook and drain pork sausage links or loose sausage If using links, remove them now, slice them and add them at the end with the apple. Add vegetables and saute until vegetables are still crunchy: Add all remaining ingredients and toss. Season with broth until moist. Stuff bird.
