Ingredients:

1 lb. sirloin steak, cut into 1/8-inch strips
2 tbsp. sugar
3 tbsp. cooking oil, divided
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1/4 tsp. pepper
3 green onions, thinly sliced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. sesame seeds
Rice or chow mein noodles

Directions:

Place beef in a glass bowl. Combine sugar, 2 tablespoons oil, soy sauce, pepper, onions, garlic and sesame seeds. Pour over beef and toss to coat. Let stand 15 minutes. In skillet or wok, heat remaining oil over high heat; addbeef and marinade. Stir-fry until beef is brown and has reached desired doneness. Serve immediately over rice or noodles.

This recipe is very quick and easy to prepare. You might want to add some corn starch to the mixture once cooked to thicken up the sauce. I've also garnished with sprinkled green onions. Very tasty!


This is great! It has great flavor! If you cook with this recipe make sure you don't reduce too much. Also, I love it with Rice sticks noodles (angel hair thin rice noodles)- it soaks up the flavor.
