8 frozen hash brown patties
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
2 cups chopped cooked ham
7 eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. ground mustard

Directions:

Place hash brown patties in a greased 13x9x2 in baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and ham. In a bowl, beat eggs, milk, salt and mustard. Pour over ham. Cover and bake at 350°F degrees for 1 hour. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more or until edges are golden brown and a knife inserted near the center comes clean.

I made this by the book and my family raved. I am not a big fan of pre-fab food ie hash brown patties, but this was great. The recipe assembly was easy and the dish tasty - what more can you ask from a quick brunch casserole?! |

The recipe was easy to make and very tasty. The next time I make it I am going to add a 1/2 cup of chopped onion over the potato layer. My son suggested that addition and I think it will enhance the flavor. |
