40 lb. ground beef
16 eggs, lightly beaten
8 cups old-fashioned oats
5 cups tomato juice
3 lg. onions, chopped
1/3 cup salt
2 tbsp. pepper
Sauce:
3 cups water
1-1/2 cups ketchup
6 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
2 tbsp. brown sugar

Directions:

Combine beef, eggs, oats, tomato juice, onions, salt andpepper. Form into 16 loaves. Place in 9x5x3 loaf pans. Combine sauce ingredients; pour 3 tbsp. over each loaf. Bake at 350°F for 1-1/2 to 2 hours or until no pink remains, basting once with remaining sauce.
