2 oz. butter
1 oz. vermicelli
12 oz. basmati rice, washed
1 tsp. lemon juice
1-3/4 pints water or stock

Directions:
|
Melt the butter. Add the vermicelli and brown well. Add the rice and mix in very well. Season with salt and pepper. Add lemon juice and stock. Mix again. Bring to the boil, cover and simmer for 15-20 minutes until rice is cooked.
