Ingredients:

1-1/8 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2-2/3 tbsp. sugar
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup cream
1 to 2 whole eggs
3/4 tsp. vanilla
2-3/8 oz. white chocolate chips
1/2 can dried apricot halves, chopped
1/2 cup dry-roasted pecans, chopped

Directions:

Sift the dry ingredients together. In a large mixing bowl, cut the butter into the flour. In a small mixing bowl mix the cream, eggs, and the vanilla together, pour into the flour and mix until it is incorporated. Stir in the chocolate, pecans and the apricots, and mix to combine.

Roll out the dough to about 1/2-inch thick, and cut with a shape cutter or make triangles. Bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes at 375°F.

User Reviews:

I love these and sometimes omit the apricots and replace them with dried cherries or cranberries. During the holiday I add a few chopped green glaced cherries. You can substitute any dried fruit for the apricots and I have . This is the only scone recipe I use. Enjoy !
