Ingredients:

2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup milk
1 stick butter or margarine
2 to 3 cups oatmeal
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt

Directions:

Mix sugar, cocoa, milk, and margarine. Bring to a boil, and boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat, and add peanut butter, oatmeal and vanilla. Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet and allow to cool.

I love these cookies. We always called them Quickens. My recipe calls for 3 cups oats, and make sure to use chunky peanut butter. I also find using waxed paper on the cookie sheets works better than greasing them.
