Ingredients:

1 pkg. (9 oz.) Brussels sprouts
2 slices bacon
2 tbsp. vinegar
1-1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic salt

Directions:

Cook brussel sprouts according to package directions. Drain throughly. Fry bacon until crisp. Drain; crumble. Combine vinegar, sugar, and seasoning. Stir into sprouts. Sprinkle bacon over sprouts. Heat through.

I used cider vinegar and I don't know if that was too mild for the recipe. I felt like it should have been cooked a lot more in order for the flavor to absorb but I was afraid to turn the sprouts to mush. Some pieces had a bit of flavor and others nothing. I think I'm going to try to meld this with my sweet and sour cabbage recipe and see how it works.
