3/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. baking soda

3/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. water
12 oz. semisweet chocolate chips
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Melt together until *just begins* to boil: butter, water, sugar. Remove from heat. Add flour, soda and 1/2 of chips. Add eggs, one at a time and mix well after each. Add vanilla. Stir in nuts and remaining chips. Pour into 8 or 9-inch square pan and bake at 350°F 30-35 minutes.

Comments from Stacy Gavett :

These are best stored in the fridge. Otherwise they are too gooey.
