Ingredients:

1 lb. chipped ham
1/4 box poppy seeds
1 tbsp. mustard
1/2 lb. swiss cheese
1/2 cup margarine, divided in 2 parts and melted
Sandwich buns

Directions:

Shred ham and cheese and mix with mustard, poppy seeds, and 1/4 cup melted mergarine. Brush insides of buns with plain melted margarine and fill bun with ham and cheese mixture. Place top on bun and brush top with melted butter also. Individually, wrap each bun in foil. Bake at 250°F for 20 minutes. If frozen, bake at 350°F for 20 minutes.

I have fond memories of helping my aunt make these for my uncle. After we had finished, we would take them out to the field where he was working and have a "picnic."
