Ingredients:

1 stick unsalted butter
2/3 cup light brown sugar, firmly packed
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. bourbon
1/2 cup corn syrup
3 tbsp. molasses
1 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/3 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 9-inch pie shell
Whipped cream, for garnish

Directions:

Heat oven to 350°F. Beat the butter and sugar until very light. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add salt, vanilla, bourbon, corn syrup and molasses. Blend well. Sprinkle the flour over the pecans, then toss the pecans and chocolate chips into the filling. Turn into pie shell and bake 35 minutes. Serve with whipped cream.
